Bandito Week: Engineering Frosh 2010

Are you a newly accepted engineering student? Well let me start out by congratulating you on joining the best faculty, at the best university, in the country!

There are a few things you should know about what you are getting yourself into. You are coming into one of the most demanding programs at McGill. Don't be surprised if you find yourself at McGill late at night studying Partial Differential Equations or programming the last few lines of code for COMP 208. But it’s by no means a solitary struggle. Engineering students work together and help each other out: it’s the engineering code.

The first step to feeling part of this community is O-Week: engineering’s frosh. It is a three day event where you will meet 400 other new engineering students as well as tons of upper year students who will be able to give you some tips on how to get through your three to five years with us.

Registration will be up soon at oweek.mcgilleus.ca . If you register before August 15th, for only 40$ you get meals for the 3 days, some beverages, entrance and transportation to all the awesome events, your official O-Week t-shirt, an O-Week bag stuffed with all kinds of goodies and of course your official McGill Engineering hard hat.

For more information on the schedule and to register go to oweek.mcgilleus.ca . Hope to see you there!
