Conference with Us

Network with peers from across the country, develop leadership skills, & bring back change to your Engineering Society.
As a delegate to conferences and competitions, you represent the Engineering Undergraduate Society & Engineering community as a whole. The EUS requires all delegates to sign the delegate agreement, which outlines delegate responsibilities, expectations and the code of conduct prior to attending a conference.

Conferences

Description: The EUS is proud to send delegates to the CFES Conference on Diversity in Engineering every fall. CDE aims to encourage discussion and collaboration around the theme of diversity in engineering. It encourages students to develop knowledge surrounding the variety of individuals, cultures and perspectives found within engineering communities and acquire skills to better address society’s multidisciplinary issues. .

Application

Description: Congress is a week long national conference on professional development, leadership and making an impact in your engineering society. Delegates attending CFES Congress are provided with a fantastic opportunity to meet with and learn from other student leaders and industry professionals. This National transfer of knowledge is invaluable, as it provides students with tangible, real-life examples and advice on how to improve their personal and professional skills, their engineering societies and their Faculty as a whole.

Competitions

Description: For five days and four nights, over 400 engineering students from across Quebec participate in a series of competitions and parties. Each day is dedicated to one or two exciting competitions including design, debates, sports, academics and more and is followed by the craziest parties known to engineers. The goal of the Games is to meet fellow engineering students and professionals, show off some of your skills, and have a great time!

Description: MEC is an event gathering McGill Engineers to compete against each other in a variety of categories including sustainability, consulting, design, innovation and more. The McGill Engineering Competition is an exciting interdisciplinary engineering competition that allows students of all types of engineering to test their skills in varying competitions. The goal of the competition is to foster relationships between students while providing them a setting for professional engineering practice as well as networking opportunities. Win your category and qualify for the Quebec Engineering Competitions.
